New 6X6 mixed media piece with a chain tassel added. The large beads and chain were purchased at Michaels. To that I added a fortune cookie and the dial from my stash. Love the color added with the two green beads I was given in the class that I took at CraftFusion several weeks ago. That class was a good decision. I now understand how to hold the tools, the correct way to close a jump ring and the concept of using jump rings to add elements. It's all about practice, practice practice.
A close up of the tassel. Just another way to kick my art up a notch.
Books and mixed media go together like a wink and a smile. While my piece dries, I am was able to work on much needed digital art work for the book I'm designing for my daughter Jen. I have not been doing enough digital work. Elements for this piece are from Amber LaBau, Lily Designs and Forever Joy. I am liking the work of Amber LaBau and Forever Joy enough to spring for the full kits. Currently I just have a small piece of each in my stash.
The second card exclusively uses the elements of a kit purchased from Flergs several yeas ago. Who can pass up a pea in a pod. . .or maybe that's a bean sprout.
I'm just turning the corner on the baby book. Designing baby books has been a passion of mine for years. It allows me to incorporate everything I've learned from 1996 to now and each unique. It's impossible not to ENJOY!
